Ok ive go a couple of suggestions for areas.
Suggestion 1: In the dwarven strip mines were you mine you should be able to pan for gold ore in that little stream in the minign area.
Suggestion 2: In the dwarven strip mines int eh area were you mine there is a little hole in the ground. You should be able to enter that area and you would end up in a mine shaft. In that mine shaft there should be a area that would offer more minign oppotunities. Maybe parts were you could mine for gems. Maybe add soem bats that you could fight. And make it decently dark. Make a mine cart that you could ride to get to differnt parts of the mine (like the gem minign spot or a seperate minign spot). Myabe put a shop in there so you could buy and sell ores and gems. Put a blast furnace. Maybe somone who can craft down there. Call the area Dwarven Hills: Mine Shaft. Theres my two cents and i hope you liked it.

I personally have future plans for a new area @ the mine where the "cave in" happened in DH strip mine. I have wanted something there since I first saw that memorial... I like the idea about the cart & whatnot.

Dunno if this should go under this thing or not but heres an idea:
All the halls are a little to similar if you ask me i think there should be a change of scenery!
Kindred Hall/Moat Make the moat like a cemetary and the hall a crypt since a cemetary setting just seems more of a place for an evil gathering.
Chimeara Hall/Moat Make the moat a forest and the hall an encampment. A forest area seems more the neutral aligned to me.
Eclipse Hall/Moat Dont change already looks like a gathering for the virtuous. Maybe make the hall look more like a temple.
Theres my idea hope somone likes it!

review of underdark
1. love the snowy area. how do we get there? what is the point of the area?
2. i don't know if the monsters have been toned yet, but they seemed appropriate for our large party. if the aim is for the underdark is for it to be managable for a group of 3 or 4, they need to be nerfed at least 25%. specifically orb alur elites and minotaurs. svirfneblins are good, wraiths are good. that lone manticore is kind of out of place. - orb alurs could be nerfed by reducing AC. they have such high ac and ab, it's impossible to go toe to toe with them for any length of time. - minos could do with an HP reduction, if you want to nerf them
3. as far as lolth herself, i would try to have her fight 2 orb alur elites at the same time, and be able to kill them both. buff or nerf accordingly. she seemed kind of easy for the queen of the drow.
4. crafts? are they done? in general i would suggest eliminating any references to crafts until the system is 100% done, then introduce it whole, to avoid unnecessary frustration.

The orb alur elites and minotaurs wear a bit....strong. Is there anyway of a map? Maybe it being sold somewhere in the town up there? You could always make it lvl restricted to the buyer, we don't need a low-be getting splatted. Over all it was fun and defiantly different. RAven

Well, from my point of view after last nights trip, I thoroughly enjoyed it, even though I was the lowest level character there . Overall I thought it was very well designed and enjoyable to get there, though the mosters were a little tough, but definately worth doing with a party of level 30+ characters. I agree with the other comments made on this subject that the mosters do need to be nerfed slightly, though not too much as the chars in the party were able to handle everything that was thrown at them.

the biggest reason i don't go to the underdark is that it's difficult to convince a large party to go, since there's little reward. i would argue that the reward is "becoming familiar with the area," but it would be nice if we knew if/when the crafts are complete.

The crafting system in Tyrain Dun is complete and has been tested (initiated when it first rolled out). However--I believe that I may have made them too tough to solve despite the various notes indicating some of the components and combinations.
For that- I think I will be adjusting the components and ways to obtain the correct combinations. Keep in mind I am still working on a fully integrated crafting system that incorperates ALL of Dominia's crafts.
BTW- Tyrian Dun has 7 crafts that if all components are owend- combine to garb the wearer in veritable fortress of protection! LOL

Dungeons
Fix these NPCs,
Smaller Fire Element, Insane AB + Disarm equals bad ian common fodder npc.
Larger Water Elementals, A common EXP farm npc, they drop a heavy flail every death. As these are farmed by casters for the most part, these heavy inventory space consuming drops are rarely picked up. I recommend moving the drop to the zone mini-boss. The elementals are rewards enough in exp/difficulty and pure gold drops(270gp each), taht I feel this will not impact players and will decrease server lag.
Troll CR/EXP in the lower levels should be increased. A rather tough kill for little reward.
NPC Vendors should delete items sold to them.

Ok i have another idea i stuck up in a conversation with tino, dark rose, and noble lumpkin.
Idea:
You know how there are good and evil sides i say that the good and evil side be seperated to differnt factions and put in differnt cities. I say that we make it so that there are the evil lands and the good lands make areas be in the good lands and areas be in the evil lands. Make the clan halls into cities so that they are like the capitals of the lands. And make shandalar a neutral zone dominated by the neutral.
Faction: After you make your character you go to the expansion checker. I say after that you go to the faction setup and make it so when your there you pick a faction and you start in there lands.
Upgrade: You would be able to upgrade the city of your faction. And chimeara would be able to upgrade shandalar as they see fit. Maybe even make it so you can put goons patroling your lands and they would attack shout out warnings for others to leave the lands before they are attacked and if they dont leave by like so many warnings they are attacked.
In doing this there would need to be more areas added and stuff moved around. This is just an idea. Now if tino reads this and i forgot anything that we discussed add it in...
