I have a suggestion for a new area. Let’s call this area “Pirates Island”. Players will want to go on this Island to find tons of gold pieces and gems. No good gear on this Island, just gold and gems… and crazy bloody pirates to protect the treasure. I see this Island as a way to get rich without farming. But it should not be an easiest way: The pirates could be as strong as Vampires in CC for instance. I suggest that to go to this Island, players shall bribe a sailor near the coast (expensive) or get a pass in TG (less expensive) then meet the sailor.

It was an old post (as you can see). And unfortunately it was the only one about new area proposals... Hopefully MORE will come so the DMs have more work!

I love more work, thanks. I've had a lot of contributions over the years. Most I've looked at. Some I've considered. I must say, though, that I will not do a great deal of work on them. I have too much work to do. I will critique them if they're off to a decent start. That said, though, the bar is raised pretty high on material. Work your ass off and submit complete projects or I'll delete them from my desktop. All areas need NPC, monsters, placeables, back story, goodies, lighting, sounds, and fun scripts. I won't be adding empty 6 room houses with rats (or renditions of heaven that look like Atans...MAUS). I require more effort than that. Look at the Rd areas now. Lots of stories, lots of lighting, lots of NPCs.

There could be some big areas for clan wars. In each area, there could be a small fort or even just some activatable thing that allows the clan that activates it to control the area. Each area could generate some sort of income for the clan that currently holds it, such as so much money per day/week/hour etc (wouldnt need to be much, just for something to do), or if you held a Barracks type area, it could generate more npc soldiers (upgradable) for the clan to use to defend other areas, or even as extra defense in clan hall moat.
Clans would have to have actual members to fight there to take over the area, but each clan could place upgradable soldiers in each of the zones, to help defend it or attack it.
Once a clan takes over the area, there could maybe be a 1 day period before enemy clans can place npc soldiers back in the area to attack it. Players could still attack it in this 1 day period before the enemy clan builds up a strong defense, but they just dont have npc helpers.
Moved this from the Redemption is outstanding server thread as it didnt really belong there. Glog has a post there saying a similar thing, i think its similar anyway.

Area suggested name: Uruk-Hai Secret Cavern (for lv30+).
Storyline: Drows (from Underdark) are now taking the lead of Uruk-Hai Legions and prepare an invasion…
Area description: Strait cavern with narrow passages and secret rest areas. Entrence should be somewhere neer Dwarves Mine. At the far end of the cavern, people should be able to use a portal and be randomly port somewhere in Underdark (all party members at the same place, if it’s doable).
Monsters suggestion: Uruk-Hai are uber-orcs who live to kill and eat their victims. They usually win by outnumbering their enemies.
Uruk-Hai Warrior Epic Barbarian High AB, medium AC Scimitar (with poison), small shield
Uruk-Hai Champion Epic Weapon Master High AB, medium AC Dual-Wield Scimitars Haste
Uruk-Hai Shaman Epic Sorcerer, Death Spell Focus True Seeing
Hobgoblin Archer Epic Rogue Shortbow, poison arrows Haste True Seeing
Ogre Goon Epic Monk High Spell Resist Unarmed Haste
Mini-boss: General Vraadak Epic Weapon Master High AB, medium AC Heavy Flail True Seeing
Boss: Orb Elite Alur (Drows lead the Uruk-Hai…) + two Uruk-Hai Shamans Chest with nice items in the room. Port to a random place in Underdark.

Area suggested: An area similiar to Top of The Mountian but instead of it being a 'cold' area it could be a 'fire' area. Called Molten Core or something like that. It could be say in area inside or under a volcano. (level 35-40+ area)
