So.... I figured I would give the crafting books a try....
I have now wasted 2.75 mil on books that don't seem to work....
I bought "Point Blank" and "Book of the Knight"
Point Blank: "...Flying true and sharp, an arrow +3 can be transformed with a ruby and the egg of a dragon"
Book of the Knight: "... for the combination of a necklace of intelligence 2 along with the same but that of wisdom and the token of a great maze and passage to the deep wood is reviled"
Yeah..... so I tried an arrow +3, dragon egg, ruby, and the book.... nothing
stack of arrow +3, dragon egg, ruby, and book.... nothing
I haven't tried the Knight book yet cause I'm not sure what it is asking for yet.... Since I've never heard of an amulet of int +2.... just rings of clear thought....
and Lord knows what the token is supposed to be....
Any help?

Yes- Posting the issues your presenting is a great help. It will allow us to investigate.
I would not say that you've wasted any gold though. Providing you have the right ingredients, even if the script is broken, we can collect your items and give you the appropriate craft.
Allow me a day to look into the first craft.
As for the second craft- I will give you the token and then change the craft recipe as the area that the "token from a great maze" is an area thats no longer available. As for the other ingredients on this one, they are all avaliable in game (I will still verify the craft script for it).

How are you new to the server within a week, yet have enough gold to purchase craft books totaling 2,750,000 gold??

I'll PM it if you ask, but it's part of my farming exp, so quite efficient
and so far I've played for a month now and have several 20+ toons
but this is off track....
Any luck on the craft scripts?

I tried the point blank again..... still nothing.... Please spell out exactly what it is I must do to make it work....
Maybe it is operator.... I'll admit it.... maybe I'm not looking into it correctly....
But I can't get it to work......
and.... is there really an amulet of intellect?

Yes Yonkey- The script has been corrected but you need the new ingredients. The ones you have, though correct, have the wrong tags.
If you wanted to go collect the items again, it should work otherwise, post some times when you are on and I will make it a point to get with you.

Haven't posted in Redemption in a LONG time so give me a moment to take this in..... Ahhhhhh!!
Alrighty!! Well I just purchased the "Book of the Lion" (10 Mil) It's suppose to give me a short sword. Well I'm 99% positive I have all the goods together. It really only called for 2 items. here is what the book says.
"One of the Legendary Artifacts of which great power comes from the belt of a simple Hill Giant and the sword of the Great Yellbelch to create."
So this stumped me for a bit cause I couldn't remember who Yellbelch was and I had no clue where to get the Hill Giant belt though I knew I had seen it. It says nothing of a spell and the only items it mentions are Yellbelch's Sword and the Hill Giants Belt.
Well someone reminded me the Belt was in the Newbie Castle in the store, so I went and got that. "Belt of Hill Giant Strength"
And after searching and searching I found Yellbelch. funny enough he was just the Goblin King, and the sword is the Goblin Kings sword.
Sooooo I got the sword, got the belt, got the 10 mil book, put them in the crafting table, closed it up, opened it up... nothing. Tried different things, but nothing. The most I can figure is I'm miss understood the first part "One of the Legendary Artifacts from which great power comes" is an item and not the Sword of the Lion itself. But that's so vague I have no clue what it could be.
Am I missing something or is it just broken?

yes. I see that now.
Not all crafts were tested 100%. I have fixed this one and it should work for you now.
I am also going through all the others and fixing them- If ANYONE has craft materials that are NOT working AFTER the next update- let me know and I will give you your craft.

Thanks Tempus, Little Tall was telling me it use to also take a amulet so we figured the amulet was still in the requirements, but not in the book. So it goes.

oh okay, I just got a book that requires his favourite tool if he's really gone that would be another thing that'd need fixing (or even better, put him back in dis, he was fun, always trying to chop you up (to make a meal out of?  )) |
