Sorry guys.. thought I could trust things running solo again. I took a camping trip and wouldnt you know it ... Server Down!!!  Go figure. Not sure why it happened this time. No power outages of any kind.... Back up now and I am home. Caught some nice Bass too though! Used a Houla-popper! |

Possibly you can just direct connect (or does that still require you to use the gamespy network?)..

It might say so... but it ain't! HA! One question for you Dex, didn't you put up that corporate proxy? Just open up the ip:port when requested by nwn, it should work. |

Guys, in an effort to stay ahead of potential issues with the Bioware Master server being down, I am taking RD off line for a few days to implement a server run replacement.
This stand-in 'master server' will authenticate your toons similar to what the Bio one did, just this will be on our server (e.g. you will still get the Bioware message that the master server could not authenticate your login).
This is to ensure preemptive measures are taken. I dont want anyones toon hacked.
Sorry for the inconveience. I would have done it sooner but honestly, did not think anyone would really care that much about RD and its player base to do anything bad (there are not that many visitors, ya know!).
Anyway- there you have it.
