Fixed Dan the Man however, no shop keeper should buy ammo due to the cash exploites. As DoS indicated, the bullets (arrows, darts, bolts and throwing axes) should be used, donated or burned!

oh the horribly faulty logic behind this.... what cash exploits, when a single bullet is only worth 300g? who would be crazy enough to get carpal tunnel over that? and if they are, why do we need to stop them? take it from someone who tried to earn money for a craft by selling bullets and gave up after a few hours with only a few thousand gold to show for it: its just not worth it. bullets should be used? you cannot be serious. even if there was a half decent sling out there, which there isnt, bullets would still do way too little damage way too slow to be considered an effective means of attack, even for a ranged weapon (which also means way too low ab and the need to keep your distance). and even if you are hellbent on using bullets regardless of the fact that it will be your doom, a single pass through sitis will provide more bullets than you can spend, and more importantly, more bullets than you can carry on you and still have some use of your inventory to, y'know, carry your other gear. donated? to who? newbies? there arent many around and if the occasional does come by, you can only donate as many. even if you bury him in bullets there's still craploads left on that char and everyone else. not that they will ever use all those bullets. burned? not sure what that could mean as there is no way to burn stuff, I can only assume it means throwing them away, which makes no sense.... bullets should be thrown away? yeah sure, drops are meant to be thrown away. why do they even drop then? so basically you cant sell bullets, you can never use them even if they'd be worth using, you cant donate them after you've donated a few stacks (if at all), so the only reason to pick them up is so you can throw them away? no profit, no benefit, just additional clicks? right, got ya. instead of making things easier for the players (who already have so little free time that they barely play anymore) to encourage them to come around more often and try to achieve something (wasting time is not achieving something), you continually make things harder and harder so that they can lose hope of ever achieving anything and give up faster..... nails in the coffin, nails in the coffin.... been saying that for long now.... but hey, seeing how the server is thriving, I guess I was wrong, eh

LOL.. Nice rant. But seriously, there are a number of residual things from the 'old' RD days. All the sitis bullet drops is one of them and something I have not gotten around to addressing.
Cash exploites- sure. This could be done on ALL ammunition, including bullets. Prior to Sunday, the Theives Guild would fetch a proper amount. Post Sunday with the shop changes in place, the Smithy in Shandalar would do it as well.
Burned- sure. The Amalgamation Furnace in the Dwarven hills destroys most things placed in it.
Donated- sure. I agree not many newbs frequent the server and since most players have farmers or get lucky and can catch Raven.
Slings- I agree there. The only one really worth its salt is Sugo's. Something I have on my HUGE list of things to (someday) address.

Little Tall, Now that the final shop has closed I will make public how bullets were an exploit and why Chim had so much money for so many years.
It all comes down to key stroke macros. What people have been doing, including Tempus himself before he was a DM is using macros to split and sell ammunition in bulk. The secret to it has been handed down threw chim members since the time of Ajin as Clan Leader. Several million could be earned in an hour, and most of that time would be afk while the macro did the work. This ruling is being implemented to to help diminish the cash flow imbalance between the clans.
Sorry for abusing it but it was to tempting.....

Bah try not to make it sound like the Chimps were the only ones who could make a macro and auto split a few thousand arrows a night.

So one of my craft items has mysteriously disappeared from my inventory...were any changes made to the legendary scimitar that might have caused this to happen?

That might be the reason why Chimaera had so much gold in the last few years, but look at the server 6-7 years back and you'll see that Runt/Stone McEwaan was the main income for Chimaera That guy farmed Cyric so much that his char was lvl 40 when he finally got the expansions installed. Nuff said.

Hm.. I think I found a bug of some sort The person at spawn (yes, I already forgot the name...) that tells you to go kill the Captian parrot - if you do the quest (go slay the captain) and if you choose number 2 when talking to the person ("I knew I forgot something" text) the captain's bones (skull) disappears from the inventory. And you have to go kill the captain again. Darnit
