Yeah, something along the lines of a good solid stat enhancer of a basic sort "Belad's Magnificent Weapon Attractor": +7 AC maybe a small vuln to Bludgeoning? lolololol

Some bard-only items:
"Frankie's Mob Connection"
Frankie the Bard has always denied that he had any mob connections, yet this new book supports the allegations of his ability to control "mobs."
Type: Book Usable only by bard
Spells--once per day, Dominate Animal, Dominate Monster, Dominate Person
Danny Boy
The pipes, the pipes are calling:
Item type: bagpipes Usuable only by Bard
Banshee wail twice a day (higher level than scrolls if possible, I've used banshee scrolls and they're worthless)
Warcry twice a day

Items have 1 or 2 choses for spell level of casting. The highest for any spell (AFAIK) is 17th level equivalent.

"The Princess Bride" collection, by S. Morgenstern, and Ciamhan. Attempting to make nonboss gear that is true to the characters and yet useful here. Fessick's Belt Fessick the giant was not your typical giant. While he did indeed have great strength, he had a wit and charm that exceeded his appearance, and nobody who could rhyme like he did had the usual giant's low intelligence and ignorance. Type: belt Plus 4 ST, Plus 2 INT and CHA Westley's Sword Westley (Wesley?) was one of the best swordsmen in the land, finding his only equal in Inigo Montoya. He claims that he had built up an immunity to Iocaine, but in truth it was the sword that gave him that power and was the source of the poison. While Westly was a good man, he was also the Dread Pirate Roberts for a time, so this and the poison reflect his refusal to play by all the rules. Type: rapier Usable only by Neutral, Chaotic, and Good EB +8 additional damage: magic 1d12 (have to have something for us ) keen immunity to poison poison use once per day, highest poison available Inigo's sword Inigo Montoya's sword was the finest in the land. In his battle with the evil count who killed his father, Inigo was mortally wounded, but his sword slowly healed him, and also gave him the time to heal. Type: rapier EB +8 extra damage magic 1d12 regen +3 keen bonus feat: improved expertise (I don't like parry, plus this feat can be turned on or off as needed) We already have holocaust cloaks, so they're not included in the collection.

How about the Follow Me Dragon for Chimaera, or the Follow me Angel for Eclipse, or the Follow Me Demon for Kindred. Basic idea is an item that can be purchased in the clan hall or recruiter given only, summons a dragon, or an angel, or a demon of substantial power to assist in the ever needed HELP ME IM DYIN events we have been getting into. Might be helpful in the boss runs until player popularity returns.....

lol the concept of cursed gear could be a fun idea .. if you could script it so that you would need remove curse to be cast inorder to take the item off.. the part that is rough is being able to actulay trick others into putting them on..how could they be disguised to look like one thing then turn into somthing else when equiped.. have a ring of crushing that makes it impossable to cast a spell until removed without the still spell feat..or a belt of infliction that would cause so many points of damage every round or ability reduction or both. have a high lore required to be the only way to discover the true nature of the item before hand.

also the concept of items that offer enhancment to ability's in the form of gloves and belts and boots would be a boost to gear selection so that players could actuly define their builds and have more options of doing so. and limit the idea that only specific character builds are builds that are survivable would be nice.

M- cursed items could be done- just use a bas item with some description but apply a Unique User X/Times day property or even an module On Equip.
The trick here would be that since these would be so unique, most players may not use them KNOWING it could be something bad or good.
