i sent tempus a message asking if i could help host RD so we can get it back online on a regular bases i understand that the server is at 0 player base but its always been a free to play persistent world and i for one will always come back to it to run around and play. say hi and stab a few people who are not looking.. i don't know what ever became of tino and other kindred members tino drooped off the face of the earth and hasn't been heard from sense i hope he is ok and will make an appearance at least to say he is.. if tempus is ok with it i should be able to have my server tower up and ready in some time before April seeing as i don't have much else going on rd should be fairly stable. keep in touch let me know if you guys thank it will be a good idea.

Did you email or PM him? I don't think he checks in here anymore.
BTW, good luck with taking the server, I asked a couple years ago to take over in the case of Jim deciding to shut it down. When he decided he was shutting it down I asked again. Jim was fine with me taking on the server, but he wanted Messiah and Helm's blessing. They apparently said no, and so RD is dead.
Jim has offered to send me the areas he created as well as the ones I created and/or completely redid, but as a whole RD is sadly dead because of 2 former DMs pettiness.

Then why don't we create and continue on with the storyline?? Shandalar is burnt out, and we start over in the town of Blogden. My Mod Castle Pendragon is about 90% complete. I need help connecting the areas and putting it online. I am willing to send it out to whoever might be willing to help me with it.

well for now till everyone decides what is going on.. any of you can find me on Perfect World International Ive been hanging out on the Server called Harshlands with my little brother anyone is more then welcome to come chat and hang out.. i have 2 characters i usaly keep logged in HolyPowerz my cleric and Tindie my venomancer.
and i keep a chat up alot itll be under Sabaoth wich is the name of my faction i made.. love you all just figured id let you know where ive been hiding out..

Seems there is a lure for RD!
I recently acquired a new PC and still have RD on the older one. I am willing to run this should anyone want. Also.. after reading through the many MANY posts and PM's I have received, I see no reason to let parts of RD live on in YOUR mods (if you are builders or DM or whatever). Afterall, I beleive at least 1/3 of that server and its scripting is my work and still, another 1/8 has come from direct scripts or ideas from you all!
So- having said that:
1- Should RD come back?
OR
2- Should I send those that want it parts of RD?

well if I say that RD is a drug you cant get out of your sistem I would get some dark looks. So i will say it is the love you cannot forget and it starts calling you like a sirene every couple of months:P
I dont know how much burden is it for Tempus to run it so it is your call.
Nevertheless, I would be really happy for mod files.
I wote for both options:P
