so I was working my way through ragnarock today, and I was pulling them with my sling. after some time I used up the current stack of bullets and, as usual, a new stack was automatically put in. I noticed that the new bullets didnt have any visual effect to them and didnt do any damage and I was like wtf I dont have any mundane bullets like that on me, so I opened up my inventory and what do I see? I've been shooting my QPs!!! I dont know how this is possible because I am sure that in the past the QPs were unequippable, I'm guessing its a bug that needs to be killed asap before any more people waste their QPs. I've had 13 QPs on this char. I've made a screenshot with the last QP equipped.... sadly even that one got shot at someone so I've lost all 13 to this bug. Do you have UMD w/ that character? If so they're equippable and always have been for the last few years I've played.

uh, I'd have to check, I have a level of rogue on him so its possible that I put a point or two in UMD. however I cannot use any scrolls with him so obviously my UMD score is pathetic and should not enable me to use freakin quest points. I've never seen qps the be equppable on any char I ever had, or heard of such a case or seen it written somewhere. obviously if I did I wouldnt be keeping my qps anywhere else other than my mule. shouldnt they be made totally unequppable? or in case that is impossible, shouldnt it be declared in a public and unmissable place that it is so? :S

QP have always been equipable if you had UMD.
The reason was to make it impossible to pickpocket them, and until fairly recently there were no slings worth a crap so it was not an issue.
Now there are some decent slings obviously this can become a problem for a few players.
Suggestions?

I will have to look at this....little, get with a DM to have your QP replaced (12 QP according to your screen shot).
