I suggest a removal of the vampir confusion blast to be replaced with a direct spell cast such as confusion.
I also suggest a removal of the Bodaks death blast to be replaced with a direct spell such as wail of the banshee.
The area blast abilities make the crystal cavern and hall creatures fight each other more than they fight the PC.
