having an issue installing the CEP 2. For some reason the exe file has downloaded and I clicked to install it over 2 hours ago and nothing. Does anyone else out there have the hak files already downloaded and can email them of ftp them to me?? It would suck if I had to not play again due to this issue. Thanks in advance

Click on it more than once. Sometimes the first click doesn't take.

I get an "unable to copy file" error at 25% of installation. I've got 3,6GB free space on the destination drive and 2,2GB free space on my C: drive. is that not enough or something? (I'll think I'll try v2.3 instead....)

That might be part of the problem, I finally got mine to work today too...

downloaded v2.3, it doesnt come as an autoinstaller but as separate files, so I copied them all in manually. but now when I create a character and click "play", it wont let me play because "cep22_v2.tlk is missing" of course it didnt come with my v2.3 files, and the v2.2 autoinstaller is of no help. I'll see if CEP_Update helps or if I can download this particular file from somewhere....

CEP_Update didnt help, but apparently this file is just for show (its purpose is that you cant play unless you updated to 2.2b, which is fine, but it should not make problems if you already got 2.3 :S), so the problem is solved by copying the previous file (cep22_v1.tlk) and renaming it to cep22_v2.tlk.......

You can rename most files through all the V2's, fyi. You may find your gaming a little glitchy, but it suffices.

Listen, the easiest way to overcome a computer problem is to have your kid fix it. I hope this helps you all.
