For windowed mode: you did change the nwn.ini right? and you did use a resolution that's not your max? Try going for an even lower resolution (perhaps go for 1024x786 or something) and check if it works then. yes i did change the nwn.ini and i am using 800X600 60Hz |

Then try googling on which drivers are supposed to work with NWN. In the "worst case scenario", reroll to what you got installed with your windows, those drivers usually work just fine.
If even using older drivers won't work, it might really be a compatibility issue. Then I'd recommend using a program to virtualize windows XP and run on them (Microsoft has something already integrated into Windows 7 or you could always download VMware and use them).

i got it working
what i did was i used the nvidia control panel and changed the quilty setting to performes
