My main isn't a Pale Master, nor in fact have any of them ever been. In fact, the Pale Dragon was first used by Eclipse. Which is even more interesting considering the non-good alignment requirement, wouldn't you say? When Dethklok crossed the Paladin line, that requirement went out the window. Frankly I think the alignment thing is overrated to begin with. Clans are collections of people who want to kill another clan, nothing more basic than that.

nobody has ever questioned the talking black cat with a mans voice that turns out to be a women O.o That's because nobody wants to question something like this - if we all believe it, maybe it'll start happening!

Frankly I think the alignment thing is overrated to begin with. Clans are collections of people who want to kill another clan, nothing more basic than that. Eclipse were using PM before Dethlok used paladin. Kindred used paladin before Dethlok. Your reasoning seems a little thin there. Ok, so the alignment thing is overrated, so you are completely ignoring the RP aspect of the server. That's fine, alot of people do, myself included. Then you base the clans upon pvp entirely, which amuses me. Redemption was a PvP server this is true. I can't think of the last time there was any real pvp apart from cheap ganks. Maybe I've missed it somewhere. Clans form are an integral aspect of the server. A to B. Secondly, if the alignment thing doesn't matter because this is such a raw pvp server, why should it matter if a decent portion of a clan uses a certain build to achieve a pvp purpose? It's all about the numbers after all and PM builds get the job done against the lesser skilled. If you're so upset about Kindred massing PM builds, perhaps you qualify for this category?

I don't qualify for PM hater. I use the class liberally. A cleric PM works well for me. I am mostly speaking from my time on the server which is pre-dated by quite a few people. In the pursuit of the win all build, alignment has gotten lost. If I hated PM so much I would have already suggested some nerfs. I haven't done that.
I would like to see a return to such things as alignment but I am mostly stating whats going on now. The smiter for example is a very RP Eclipse build but has severe drawbacks and has limited PvP usage. It still does not have the raw AB to do a lot of what is needed. I am also speaking from the PvM sense as well.
Quite frankly I know the rock scissors paper of most of the classes so I have no beef with things as they are.

I've always treated a build as my mechanism for carrying out my PvP/PvM/RP tasks. Each build can RP basically anything, depending on just how well and how deeply you stick to the "In Character" aspects of the roles. You can be a sadistically evil Paladin the same way you can be a wonderfully pious Black Guard, depending on just how you want to carry on with your day-to-day activities. A lacking build for the sake of RP just seems like a damper on the fun you can have on Redemption, especially with just how tweaked and pumped things are item or MoB-wise. "Good and evil are just a point a view." rings true here, in my humble opinion. Be whatever build you want to be, play however you see fit, just make sure to bring your strengths to the table lest you be left dead on the spot, basically. PvP was once the lifeblood of Redemption, as stated before. Just keep it respectful, fun, and ever present. Once good, honest Kindred has the power back, the apathetic Chimaerans will be nudged, yet again, to join with the foul Eclipse simply to keep their mutual disdain for all things good, honest, and fun out of Redemption.
Side with whomever you see fit, but know that all paths, logically, lead to Kindred one way or another.
