I would like to see the killer flag system changed. It's a hassle to deal with the consequences imposed by these things.
The DM team wants to see PvP, albeit a "friendly sort of PvP", between the clans. Killer flags should then grant perks, not consequences.
The main problem I have with KFs is that damn KD artist Fulkir. After a reset he spams KD and KD bolt (which is just crazy, I'm almost surprised casters haven't been granted access to the bolt yet). If you're lucky, you live through his attack. Or if you have a character that can laugh off his damage, you can live. But his ambush usually means death.
If you dare to fight back, well, that's a whole new set of problems. When you fight back, the townspeople see this and turn hostile. This makes NPCs, including clan clerics, merchants, and bankers hostlie. And don't forget Jarick and his caravan driving partner, they become hostile as well.
All this because you do what the DMs ask, PK people in rival clans.
Does this seem screwed up to anyone else?
Whatever happened to the old saying "to the victors go the spoils"?

To me a Killer Flag for killing each other is totally messed up. I agree Tony. If we kill each other no flag. Thats clan wars for you. If you kill innocent people like loners and citizens then yeah let them bugger you like so many Kindred in town under Fulkir I do agree with Tony's statement though. How can we be murderer's for doing our jobs?

So, seems we have two schools of thought: 1- Move Fulkir further away from spawn point or reduce/remove his KD bolt 2- Change the premise for obtaining a killer mark
For Number 2, it seems there are also two points: 2a- Remove the Killer Mark for all Clan PvP kills only 2b- Modify the Killer Mark across the board
If a modification were to occur across the board, here are some concepts: Clan member kills Clan member in Moat/Hall or Merchants/Goons = No Killer Mark Clan member kills Clan member = Killer Mark Clan member kills loner/Citizen = Killer Mark Loner kills Clan member = Killer Mark Loner kills loner/citizen = Killer Mark
I miss anything?

Well seems that way. Now something I have noticed is loners can kill us without seeing a flag.

loners should see killer flags. And Tony, Fulkir has the same bolts that Cuervo did. Both are equal in distance from the respawn points.
I do agree the system needs to be updated. Player Council meeting on this?

I like the idea... But i do still like the system we have now. Why fix whats broken? But we can always improve it!
