tino, all remorts cost 15 + (40 - level of the char you want to remort), so for a lvl 40 char, 15 + (40-40) = 15, for a lvl 39, 15 + (40-39) = 16, and so on. minimum price is 15, maximum price is 54 (probably disallowed anyway).
major and minor remorts. you can only remort one character once. major and minor references that some remorts are inherently stronger than others. i think this terminology is redundant and confusing, and should not be used.
as to some remorts leveling slower: when you pick your remort, you will see an "ECL +" field. for XP purposes, this means that a remort with ECL +4 will get the same xp as a lvl 6 character as would a nonremort at 1evel 10, resulting in less xp. enjoy that +4 ecl at lvl 39... LOL. who knows how much xp vamps give at... level 43?
about the remorting after the wipe, who really has 30+ personal qp? i guess if you're that good and hardcore then taking a char to lvl 40 wouldn't be that hard anyway. i'm fine with setting an official limit of 1 immediate post wipe remort player, although i don't think it would become an issue. i will bring it up to pass a resolution in pc
mara, he's just proposing that you limit the number of immediate remorts post wipe to one per player, so some dude that has 200 qp isn't running around with 10+ remorts right after the wipe.

I don't like the idea of getting 140 exp per kill at level 39, unless you're talking about a caster. Are these "new" remorts that much more powerful than the "old" remorts? Or are we just making leveling more of a pain in the arse? I also like the cap on remorting after the wipe. Can we get a free remort if we wait untill level 15 before we remort?  |

Will there be a list of remorts before the wipe? The reason I ask is for thouse who have more than one alt thats at lvl 40. (yes I have 2 and cant decide)  Personaly I would like to see what out there before I decide witch one i remort and the other i let go with a wipe. Once we decide witch alt we like to "save" to remort do we just tell a dm? I know the Dm working hard and i hate to be a bother but.... I was just woundering... Raven |

There is a list of remorts on the wiki - no idea if thats the real thing but its there ( nwn.wikia.com/wiki/Remort_%28Redemption%29) Btw, will we get remort stats this time around or will we have descriptions like on the old ones (or will stats be a bit random - you get somewhere between 5 and 7 str, 3 and 5 dex etc.)? Oh and will ECL only mean that its harder to lvl your chars or will it mean that you can get to a max of 40 - ECL level (aka if you have ECL +4 then you can get a max of 36 levels)? |

Well I've seen it discussed loads of times but never saw the discussions come to an agreement... (or I just forgot it  ). Kindly post it again? Found the answer to the second question tho: "The main difference is ECL (Equivilant Character Level). Minor's will have an ECL of between 0 and 2. Major's will have an ECLs of 3, or higher. MEANING, it will be much more difficult to level them. (ECL is a number added to your actual level for purposes of giving XP). " |

Oh and will ECL only mean that its harder to lvl your chars or will it mean that you can get to a max of 40 - ECL level (aka if you have ECL +4 then you can get a max of 36 levels)? the list is real. the "general" descriptions will be filled in BEFORE the remorts are ready, so you will have some time to think about what you want to do. for the stats, it's my impression that they will be even number boosts or penalties, for our sanity. the descriptions will not give exact bonuses/penalties (-4 dex, +4 str) but will be something like: this remort will be not very graceful, but enjoy a healthy increase in strength. an ECL modified character will absolutely be able to get to level 40. there is no artificial cap on the levels. level 39 with ECL +5 should be interesting getting to lvl 40 though, since you will be getting xp per kill in line with a (theoretically) level 44 character (read: much, much less than a regular, non ECL shifted character). |

The boss gear buy back idea was for players to sell boss gear they obtained prewipe to Helm for qp/gp post wipe.
