This is a general warning to everyone, and this message has been approved by Messiah.

I've been looking through lots of the history of the forums, and I've been seeing a lot of things that I do not want to see.

Basically I've been seeing a lot of griefing, a lot of arguing, and a lot of baiting. I want it all to stop. Now.

This is a final warning for everyone. I don't mind joking around, but DO NOT say anything to annoy or piss off other players. Baring extenuating circumstances (i.e. WELL explained and documented temporary insanity) any of this type of behaviour will result in a ban from both the forums and the server itself.

Any of you who want clarification about what constitutes baiting another player, feel free to PM me, as I will be policing these forums much more frequently. Any of you who think you have been guilty of this, and want to apologize, apologize to people you have been doing it to. And if you want proof that you apologized, send it to me as well. Anyone who has this happen to them after this warning has gone into effect, send me either a screenshot from in game, or a quote from the forums / PM, and I will deal with it.

There will of course be a fair and equal trial in all of these cases, presided over by whatever DM's feel the need to preside over it. But I'm back, so watch out. I hate to be mean, but I don't want people leaving the server over other people who get their kicks out of being mean.

Also, another advisory, if someone does something like this to you, tell them they're doing it. If someone makes you angry, or makes you annoyed, or whatnot, tell them. They might just not realise that they're being an ass.

On a similiar note, I'd like to keep the offensive language down to a minimum as well. I won't ban for it (unless you use it all the time) but everyone try to keep swearing to a minimum.

That is my pleasant "I'm home" speech.

GENERAL WARNING TO ALL[/u]

I wish to remind everyone that this is a gaming forum. NOT a platform to support or distribute any other agenda beyond gaming on NWN Redemption Mud. More importantly, we consider this to a gaming community. A gaming family. In as such, we encourage and enforce friendly, respectful threads.

The general theme and scope of the postings should be game related. These include, but are not limited to: game & server problems, issues, and bugs; game and forum questions; Role Playing; game and server suggestions and ideas.

However, we encourage those of you that wish to share personal information, experiences, and stories to do so. As a "Community", we offer the oppertunity for people to develop relationships with their fellow gamers.

To this end, we expect and demand respectful and even "neighborly" discussions. The managment of this forum and this server will NOT tolerate --
1) Harassment and griefing
2) Disrespectful or non-role play, inflammatory remarks
3) Sexism and Racism
4) Political discussions
5) Excessive use of foul language

Such posts will be immediately deleted. Repeated abusers will be subject to disciplinary action.

Lastly, these rules apply to In-Game, as well. (as reflected in our PvP policies).

We are a gaming family, people. Show the sensitivity and respect deserving of your family members. You don't have to like everyone or get along with everyone, but you will respect them.

I'm almost taken back just knowing we had to write a post up about this.

This policy has the support of both owners, so tread wisely (use common sense).

My turn:

I will not accept ANY of the following:

1. Breaking of ANY rules. We are all hear to have fun. 90% of you have been playing here for quite some time. You all should know the rules of the server. If I catch anyone breaking any, it will not be pretty.

2. Please do not talk down to me, or ANYONE for that matter. I am a fellow player/friend to most of you. Treat those as you wish to be treated. Frankly it's just rude.

3. This is a PVP server. If you do not like PVP, please seek another server. Though we would love for you to stay; if it is too much of a problem, best to just leave. I am frankly irritated by the amount of shouting that goes on after a PVP kill. The only times you should be complaining is if someone has done something illegal. In that situation, please take a Screen Shot & send it to any of the DMs.

Thank you all for continuing to play here. It means a great deal to the entire DM team that you have stayed around.

I will not have players treat each other like idiots on the forums. From now on, if you don't have anything constructive to say, do not say it. Some players debating skills are much to be desired. I WILL not say this again. If it happens again, consequences.

There are some exploits out there that can not be fixed until the next update at the soonest. If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, it's a duck. In other words, if you find something that doesn't seem right don't do it. We are aware of several gp exploits, and abuse of these will be punished. I am not going to get too specific because I don't want to tempt anyone.
