Messiah, if you get hooked on D&D, check out 3rdedition.org sometime. It's a nice website full of information. There's a REALLY nice forum where you can get all sorts of help for almost anything. Besides, I'm a moderator there...

ah, PnP D&D. I started PnP (1.0, of course) in 1980 (grade school). We were the nerdy outcasts...we would spend our lunchtime gaming instead of playing on the playground.
Nerds shall inherit the earth. LOL

Ah, yes. McGlint and I are definitely fossils. I know Ironpaw and Mr. Flash have also been playing for ages, so together, Eclipse may well have more gaming experience than the rest of the server combined. Kinda funny in a sad way.
You know what though? DnD just celebrated its thirtieth anniversary. Currently there are at least 4 million DnD gamers in the US alone. I am proud to say that I started playing when I was 9 and have been at it for 21 years. I remember the old boxes, the cartoon, the board game (!) and more issues of Dragon magazine than I care to think about. Those years have brought me a lot of enjoyment hanging out with friends, eating too much junk food and having a great time!
LONG LIVE THE GAMER GEEK!

Well, I got into RPGs in grade 7, but I wasn't hooked by NWN/D&D until....NWN was released. I guess that makes me a newbie! But it's not too hard to learn this stuff, and I have a good friend who is quite experienced with the game.

I own the entire Advanced Dungeons+Dragons comic book series... all 36...and the special edition first issue. What does that make me?

Well, like fine wines gamer geeks improve with age. Of course, not being satisfied with the normal levels of geekdom, I took it a step farther. I really am a rules lawyer now, just ask my partner in crime, lol.
And Karrak, you wanna sell them?

I haven't been on much recently, for which I apologize. I also don't expect to be on that much next week, I have urgent matters to attend to elsewhere, namely rooting my team to victory in the World Series.
Three words: GO RED SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[edit] Three more, I guess, to all of you Yankees fans: WHO'S YOUR DADDY?!?!?!

14 hours of PnP, yeehaw! We started two separate campaigns. One with a prospective group of four members. The other is a high-powered action campaign with three characters, and one is both the DM and a PC. (We're a little strained for members, can you tell?
