Cia, Ras, and I ventured into Tryn Dun, The hidden valley or w/e. We got down to Chitin and were forced to leave beacuse we were running out of res's and just to many monsters. It was fun though!

3 epic characters huh? Ok.. lets see how things go with 4 (and what classes) before I go 'trimming the fat" off it.
Glad you ventured THAT far. How were the drops, did you find anything secret, what was the XP like???

Vortex C, aasimar 40 bard rogue rdd with epic dodge and almost all boss gear, ac in the 60s, ab low 40s. Ciamonk, 2 pally 21 monk 18 wm with ragnarok robes and kama, ab in the 50s, ac in the 40s Rasp had his sorc. Don't remember Shimmi's stats. To get through the first mountain area we all had to bring in our second toons and sacrifice them in ressing the better toons. We invised and ran like crazy to the north since we figured it was better to die exploring rather than fighting cloud giants and watching the derros repop and kill us. The rothes still have the KD bolt you were going to remove We got into the first underground area, derro warriors and savants were nearly impossible to kill: if it weren't for chaos shield, we wouldn't have hit anything on the mountain or underground. Savant confusion lasts way longer than normal, even longer than fear seems to. The only reason we made it to the area with the Chitine is that in desperation and again not wanting to die without seeing something new (and all of us about to give up and recall) , I ran to the edge hoping for a blue space, there turned out to be one, and then I kept running and wound up at the Chitine's cage. The boys and girls there made it very crowded and very laggy. The only thing we found in a chest was a chunk of rock in an underground chest, all the other chests on the mountain had nothing. The savants dropped a decent dagger and robe, but not any better than can be found much closer to safety and people able to res us. C

You sure the Rothes have KD bolt? I left them with KD only, no bolt. I will double check though. Drops.. I will look into the chests. Confusion.. I will look at that.
Most ALL creatures who have effects, have those effect's duration based on level. Clarity would have prevented that. It also seems that all your exploring and running around drew the mobs closer to you than you had hoped.
I will look at all mobs perceptions (to limit the number of tiles they can see to), will double check their creature abilities and address some of the drops (though I know there are some decent daggers and base line armor that drops in those areas (as well as a cloak, arrows and a few other things).

All i know is they hit like trucks. AC 86 with Imp Expertise and they dropped me pretty easy, once we added improved invis on top of it it went a little better. My ab is 46 and i was having a rough time hitting them. once i find a good scythe though i'll be doing a little bit better with an ab of 50, Also once i hit 40. I'm only 32, was 31 at the time.
It was fun to play explore the giant cold place with crazy awesome giants that will go crazy awesome all of my face. Chitine was interesting. We hit her and just recalled it was a pathetic scene watching us fight her. lol

After some diligence in trying to get down the hole to the Spider Boss ( Lord G something) and a diligent effort on everyones part we were able to take down the spider boss. 4 level 30 somethings got something done! w00t w00t. Nicely done Cia, Raven, and Ras.

So any way we can setup another run? These spontaneous ones are fun, but usually we end up a little short handed for anything to difficult. Maybe like Sundays around 7pm east? Idk, Just a thought.
