Here is my thoughts on the economy...
The merchants price for the items reflects the lvl of the player. the higher the lvl the higher the price. and the higher the lvl the lower the sell price.
this would probably cause everyone to build a low lvl character to only buy items i'm not sure how to beat this; except, maybe lvl restricted purchase

There is a tool already supplied that addresses this same 'scaleable' purchasing system. It uses the Appraise skill and (sometimes) faction rating. I do not think however, that either are currently implemented in RD.

personly i think the Idea of Paying to respawn Goons is apaling but on a second note it could also meen that in order for another Clan to get the Key they might have rez our goons for us
