Once the auto reset once per day is in, can every dm turn this on or off, or is it only on the host computer?
If they cant, does that mean no boss runs/quests could be run at the the time it resets at? ( i guess thats not much of a problem if it happens at 5 am..)
Also, does it give a warning before it does it? Incase you were transferring etc and forget about the reset..

They'll be 10 minutes of warnings so people have plenty of time. I've seen this done on lots of servers, so its nothing ground breaking.

I (and Gwen) will be on vacation from 08/18/07 until 08/27/07. A few notes (and things to chew on) before I depart:After a round or two of hot potatoe, myself (and a few others) are working diligently on the remorts. There are some 40+ creatures and I have already submitted the 24 that I was responsible for. It is my first priority to get these out ASAP and have offered my services to that end. If you wish to request an activity (boss run, quest, other...) for you, your clan, your friends.. please send me a PM with the details and lets make it happen. I am going to be implementing persistant quests upon my return. These can be triggered by speaking with various NPC's in Dominia and will be level specific (so no cheating) and will offer non-standard rewards. Look for them starting in September. I am going to implement a specific 'remort' class that is ONLY obtainable by cashing in the 'Seal of Tempus' items (unknown amount yet). This remort will be quite different from others as you will represent an Elite Fighting Order for your hard service and homage in my name. If you don't have any seals, ask someone who does how they obtained them. A few of the base zones will enhanced. Pending the remort work I am going to finish enhancing some of the base zones. This goes hand-in-hand with the quests I mentioned above. Long term plans are to finish the Isle of Dread (Stabbins unholy treasure island)! this is really great news. i can't remember the last time we had a DM that was not only as online as much, as friendly as much, and actively participating in development as much as Tempus. this really is a golden age for RD. |
